Putin: Romania can buy Russian gas without intermediaries


The Russian prime-minister Vladimir Putin stated, today, Russia agreed to directly sell gas to Romania, no intermediaries. Putin added Russia was not against The Romanian participation in South Stream project. “We are not against the Romanian participation or making part of South Stream project. We agree to direct contact as regards gas supply with state communities” said Putin. Premier’s statement was made in a discussion he had with former journalists at Novo-Ogarevo presidential residence, transmits NewsIn. Putin transmitted to the Romanian president, by means of a TVR reporter, an offer of collaboration: delivering Russian gas supplies directly to the Romanian state, so that it redelivers it to Ukraine. “I have a counteroffer that you’ll find hard to deny.
