Flood warning for 10 Romanian counties



Flood warning


Romanian hydrologists issued a new 'orange code' flood warning for the next couple of days on Tuesday. The warning relates to almost all big rivers passing through about 10 counties in the whole country.

Local authorities should expect, besides flooding, heavy rain and serious wind storms over the past several days.

The warning refers to the rivers of Jiu, Gilort, Lotru, Oltet, Ialomita, Prahova, Teleajen, Buzau, Putna, Rm. Sarat and Trotus, affecting areas in the counties of Gorj, Valcea, Dambovita, Prahova, Brasov, Covasna, Buzau, Vrancea, Harghita and Bacau.
